From the comments, he was loved by many. Take comfort in knowing that John 5:28,29 holds out the hope of a resurrection to those who have fallen asleep in death. And our loving Heavenly Father, who is the God of all comfort, is healing the brokenhearted and binding up their painful spots (2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Psalm 147:3).

Jayce had a real vital energy, a super-sized sense of humor, a wealth of compassion, and a great desire to be in service to anyone in need. That was evident to me even though I only knew him for a brief time. It was our good fortune to have known him at all and we all wish him and his family and friends all the peace in the universe.

I remember Jayce smiling constantly, if not his mouth, his eyes. He truly loved working with children and being positive influence. I only knew him a short time but he left a warm impression. Jayce was an engaging young man who really cared and listened to the people around him. He never seemed uncomfortable, even the first time he came to my home and did not know us. My heart goes out to the whole community because they have lost an angel.
Adelle Thompson says
We will miss Jayce’s friendly smile and sense of humor. He was always worried about how we were, never himself. We will miss his phone calls, chats about world conditions and how the cats and grandkids are doing. Our condolences to his family and many friends.

To the family of Jayce Cox: It was a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with Jayce while he was living in Lakeside, MT. I was his Spiritual Advisor and we had many wonderful opportunities to talk about his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a caring and loving individual who loved to be about serving others. May you have comfort in knowing that he was loved by all of us in the Lakeside Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. May God Bless.
